A major point of this chapter was to tell at least one version of the story of the All-Pattern, an alien race who've been inhabiting my brain for twenty-plus years now. But I must say that I think Vrinklay turned out better visually than the All-Pattern or most of the other aliens.

On another note, yes I know it must seem like I've been neglecting Paonia Pawns for the past couple of months. And I have been, but there's a lot of shit going on in my life right now that's required a lot of my attention, so even when I have time, I can't laways seem to use it.

I will try to do better.
