Patiently I wait by the door for your arrival
Patiently I wait by the phone for your call
I am waiting for you, my lover, my friend
I patiently wait to give you my all

You will be the sun that shines through the clouds
You will be all that I could ask, want or need
Happily forever, I'll be wrapped in your arms
You and I will plant some beautiful seed

I will be your inspiration among chaos
I will mean more to you than all the Earth's gold
You and I will be two peas in a pod
Happily ever after as the story is always told

Together forever in love's warm embrace
There will be nothing we won't accomplish or do
It will be you and I as one, as husband and wife
I have not met you, but patiently, I will wait for you
