You gaze—
Your serene paws flex,
Claws going in and out,
Kneading gently on my stomach.
Those soft, serene paws I know
Would do me no harm,
But the feeling is there—
A feeling of power and might
In those dainty, serene paws,
That keeps me safe,
That keeps you safe,
From any evil that might disturb your
Serene peace.
