My young body quivers and quakes
"Why me?" I implore to no one--
Shadows do not answer pleas.
I don't want to be alone--
Night is too dark to be all alone--
Soft, velvety night, sliding over
your skin like wet, whispery silk.
Encompassing and encircling you,
Tracing darkened fingers down your back,
Gently clawing up your body,
The darkness settles in.
