Deep within my breast lies the hurt
Drop by drop the poison falls
A human heart so full
Yet, won’t burst

The sun rises red
The birds sing songs of joy
The moon caresses the evening sky
Sadness is my sunset

Drop by drop the poison falls
A heart so full but overflow it can’t
Who would listen
Who would care

Children laugh
The rainbow makes me angry
The stars try to make the night matter
But loneliness always stays

A heart won’t burst
But only fills with the poison
Of loneliness and hurt
That causes me to cry
