I had planned on adding a new feature to the site last Sunday, but the weekend got away from me, so it had to wait until yesterday. "Sunday Night Fictions" is the new home for my completed and ongoing stories that are not (for the most part) related to Paonia Pawns. Check it out if you want. Since I ended up delaying the premiere by a week, I started out with two stories.

The first, "Cougardan and I" is the exception to the unrelated-to-Paonia-Pawns rule I just mentioned. Two of Paonia Pawns' Players had their first appearance in this short story.

The second is "Charon Rising", the title story from my short-lived sci-fi and fantasy fanzine. It ran only a single issue in print, and then many years later a second issue online. The remaining four advertised issues have yet to materialize. Perhaps someday.
