For those few of you who have stuck with this, the longest chapter in the Paonia Pawns storyline, today's strip is the 200th of this chapter and just a handful shy of the 600th strip to go online.

I promise that none of the upcoming storylines are anywhere near the length of this one, which will break the 250 strip mark before it's over.

I admit I've been dreading this strip a bit. A lot of people have died in the past 595 strips, but never a major character. This was a very big deal (at least for me) and I wanted to feel that I'd done the scene and the characters justice. I hope I succeeded.
